Description
Cyclohexanone:Colorless, clear liquid with an earthy, minty odor when it contains traces of phenols. Impurity is light yellow, and it develops color as impurities are generated during storage time. It is water-white to gray-yellow, and has a strong pungent odor. Mixed with air, the explosion pole is the same as the open chain saturated ketone. For example, it can dissolve nitrocellulose, coatings, and paints.
