Bleaching effect

Sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) will dissociate into hypochlorite ions (ClO–) and sodium ions (Na+) when dissolved in water, and the hypochlorite ions can easily snatch electrons from other substances, which means it can oxidize many Substances can destroy the cell function of bacteria through oxidation, and finally lead to the death of bacteria. The function of bleaching is also due to the oxidation of color-containing compounds, causing fading.

Application main

Used for bleaching of pulp, textiles (such as cloth, towels, singlets, etc.), chemical fibers and starch. It is used as a bleaching agent for grease in the soap making industry. In the chemical industry, it is used to produce hydrazine hydrate, monochloramine and dicyandiamide. It is also used in the manufacture of cobalt and nickel chlorides. It is used as water purifier, fungicide and disinfectant in water treatment. The dye industry is used to make sapphire blue. In the organic industry, it is used in the manufacture of chloropicrin, a detergent for the hydration of calcium carbide to acetylene. Agriculture and animal husbandry are used as disinfectants and deodorizers for vegetables, fruits, farms and livestock houses, etc. Food-grade products are used for the disinfection of drinking water, fruits and vegetables, and the sterilization and disinfection of food manufacturing equipment and utensils.

Toxicity

The free chlorine gas released by this product can cause poisoning and skin diseases. Its solution is corrosive and can damage the skin. Production personnel should wear work clothes, gas masks, latex gloves, rubber aprons, long rubber boots and other labor protection supplies to protect respiratory organs and skin.
