Boiling point 195°C, relative density 0.822-0.830, refractive index 1.428-1.431, flash point 82.5°C, soluble in 5 volumes of 50% ethanol or 3 volumes of 60% ethanol and oils, acid value <1.0. It has a dry, sweet and sharp waxy aroma, with citrus, orange peel and rose-like aromas. It has a base fragrance like parsnip root, and the fragrance does not last long. It has a fruity, sweet and slightly grassy aroma.
